These shirts are black and white or hot pink and white. We also have Dorchester's Legacy t-shirts. These are bright green with navy lettering. Please contact Libby Nagel if you're interested at lnagel1930@hughes.net.
- We now have "Dorchester's Legacy - Keep it Rural"
bracelets available for sale! For just $2, you get a really cool bracelet, plus the $2 will help support DCSE. Contact Libby Nagel if you're interested at lnagel1930@hughes.net.
- You can now make a tax-deductible donation to
DCSE! Checks can be made out to the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, with a note in the memo area that the funds are to be designated for DCSE. Checks can be mailed to ESLC at P.O. Box 169, Queenstown, MD 21658. If you have any questions, please email us. And thanks again for your support!
- PEPCO has announced recently that it will be putting
the transmission line project on hold for a year. This is not a victory, nor does it mean that we should stop the fight while they take this year to re-group. We can not allow interest in this project to die down. Please continue to check the website for updates and continue to attend DCSE meetings so that we can keep this on the forefront of everyone's minds. Thank you!
- Congratulations to Mark Luthy, who won the raffle
drawing!! And a huge "Thank You" to Mark for donating his $1000 prize back to our Quality of Life Preservation Fund. Thanks also to everyone else who bought a raffle ticket to help support DCSE!
- Yard signs are available - "NO TRANSMISSION
LINES IN DORCHESTER COUNTY." A $10 donation is requested to cover the cost of the signs. Contact Ann Rasmussen by email at arasmus1@yahoo.com if you're interested.
- A list of state legislative contacts is now available
online here. We encourage you to write, call or email your local legislator to express your concern about the MAPP power lines.
